I can’t keep this up

You’re high-functioning. You go to work, you meet your friends for drinks, you fit in some exercise here and there, you manage your home, and you raise your kids. It’s all fine…until it’s not.

The hits just keep on coming. You do your best. You distract yourself, you “push through” the stress, you overextend yourself, and you try to sleep.

Eventually you notice sleep isn’t as restful as you need it to be. Your coping mechanisms have now become bad habits. Waves of panic and anxiety begin to disrupt your waking hours and sleep is no longer restorative. You know you need help.

Let’s break the “anxiety, disrupted sleep, bad habit” cycle together. Through education, habit reconstruction, and proven therapies, I can guide you to a healthier you.

Three is a Crowd

Avoiding anxious thoughts leads to dysregulation. Over time, dysregulation leads to disrupted sleep. Chronic poor sleep leads to unhealthy coping mechanisms. Originally intended to help us sleep better or numb the intrusive thoughts, these behaviors only further perpetuate the cycle: poorer sleep, worsening anxiety, and more deeply ingrained bad habits. The cycle can be broken.

These coping behaviors have turned into bad habits. The good news is this: you can learn to stop and it doesn’t require superhuman willpower or motivation. Let’s find out how.
